Why Small Town
Small Town Fuels & Lubes is a family run and owned business located in the heart of potato country in the little community of Centreville, located half way between Woodstock and Perth-Andover. Small Town Fuels and Lubes has a long history of serving our community dating back to the 80s when David Tribe, founder and owner, found a personal supply of affordable lubricants. Always an entrepreneur, he invested in stock and began the beginnings of Small Town Lubes selling hydraulic oil from his half ton truck. After a destructive house fire, his initial investment grew to him selling his livestock and entering into the fuel industry with business partner Wayne Savage in the early part of the 1990s.
In present day, we serve the communities from Riley Brook to McAdam offering our customers small delivery amounts and personalized service on furnace oil, diesel fuel, tax exempt diesel fuel and gasoline. Our lubricants division delivers from Plaster Rock to Saint Stephen and into Doaktown and Chipman but ships all over the Atlantic Provinces.
We care about the little guy because we are the little guy. You’ll still find David and Wayne bouncing around in a fuel truck from time to time and our values of supporting entrepreneurs and families are still the same today. Since Inception, we have grown from one fuel truck to five with up to four daily scheduled runs and 13 employees, some of who have been with us almost 20 years.
